Robert Satin, a two‑time national champion pitcher, has officially joined the West Virginia University baseball program, bringing a proven winning pedigree to the Mountaineers.
The left‑hander, listed at 6‑foot‑3 and 220 pounds, posted a 13‑2 record with a 2.61 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP last season, walking just one batter in 113.2 innings.
A Champion’s New Home
Satin announced his commitment on Instagram on June 24, thanking the University of Tampa Bay, his teammates and Coach Urso for their support during his development.
Originally a Florida Gators recruit who later transferred to the Division II level, Satin’s journey reflects a relentless pursuit of excellence that aligns with WVU’s recent rise to the College World Series.
His addition is expected to bolster the Mountaineers’ rotation as they look to build on the momentum of their first ever appearance on the national stage.
