A sweep that speaks volumes
In the opening game, the Norsemen erupted for 13 runs, fueled by a solo home run from Chance Georgius and a two‑run RBI single that capped a productive inning. Derek Acevedo added an RBI single and an RBI groundout, while Jake Knoll contributed a fielder’s choice that brought home two runs and even stole home later in the frame. Pitcher Ryan Kepley earned the win, scattering three runs on three hits while striking out six batters.
