Ron Roberts has taken the reins of Arkansas’ defense with a clear mission: to overturn a unit that in 2025 ranked last in the SEC by allowing opponents to score 52.8% of all possible points.
The statistical snapshot is stark. Only four Razorback defenders recorded double‑digit tackle totals the previous season, underscoring the need for a comprehensive overhaul as the roster reshapes itself around newcomers.
Adding to the challenge, the fall camp this year is compressed. The university’s early start to the semester pushes the first full‑pad practices back to August 11, giving Roberts and his staff a tighter window to instill new schemes.
