Rosemount Claims First-Ever Class AAAA Baseball Title
The Class AAAA state championship game unfolded at a packed field, pitting the Champlin Park Rebels against the Rosemount Irish in a clash that would decide the season’s ultimate victor.
Rosemount struck first in the bottom of the second inning when Jaden Oligmueller delivered an RBI sacrifice fly, giving the Irish a 1-0 lead that set the tone early.
The Rebels answered back in the third with two RBI base hits from Oliver Anderson and Jackson Agee, knotting the score and showcasing their offensive firepower.
Despite loading the bases with two outs, Champlin Park could not convert, leaving those runners stranded and failing to seize momentum.
The decisive moment arrived in the sixth inning, when Rosemount added two more runs, extending their lead and ultimately pulling away to a 4-1 final.
With the win, Rosemount finished the season at 21-7, capturing the program’s first-ever state title and cementing their place in Minnesota baseball history.
