The All‑South Piedmont Conference has announced its latest soccer honorees, revealing a strong showing from Rowan County that includes thirteen athletes on the all‑conference roster.
Celebrating Standout Performances
The selections span a range of local high schools — Salisbury, South Rowan, West Rowan, East Rowan, Carson, Concord, NW Cabarrus and Robinson — each contributing players to the distinguished list.
Megan Story of NW Cabarrus was recognized as the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year, while Piper Martin from Concord earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Coach Harold von Klahr of NW Cabarrus was similarly celebrated as Coach of the Year.
The acknowledgments underscore the depth of talent across Rowan’s soccer programs and reflect a season marked by competitive spirit and teamwork.
