The victory marked the squad’s 15th straight win, a run that began weeks earlier and has left opponents scrambling to find a foothold.
A decisive seventh‑inning surge
The rally began when Luke Ponczka smashed a double that ignited a six‑run burst. Cole Blevins followed with his second double of the night, and Maddox Moore delivered a two‑out hit that set the stage for Jayven Parks’ three‑run homer, extending the lead to 11‑5. The timely hits turned a close contest into a comfortable margin.
Earlier, Carter Durant opened the scoring with a homer in the second inning, while Mooresville answered in the fourth with a bases‑loaded triple from Andres Acurero that tied the game at 4‑4. Reliever Jacob Prevette stepped in under pressure and recorded five crucial outs, preserving the lead as the offense surged.
