Season Overview
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) has released its 2026 men's soccer schedule, a 17‑game slate that begins with a home‑heavy opening stretch at ECAV Stadium. The Engineers will play nine of their first 17 matches on their home turf, setting the tone for a competitive season.
The early schedule pairs the team with familiar non‑conference opponents, including matchups against Clark University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the first week of September. Those games mark the first of four home contests in the opening five rounds.
Mid‑September brings additional home fixtures against Keene State College and the State University of New York at Oneonta, while the Engineers travel to face Plattsburgh State and Middlebury College as part of their non‑conference road trips.
The season’s first Liberty League contest arrives on September 26, when RPI hosts Rochester Institute of Technology, kicking off conference play that will run through the fall.
Senior forward Adam Clinton is expected to anchor the attack, bringing experience and leadership to a roster that blends youthful talent with seasoned veterans.
