Rutgers University announced Thursday that its women's soccer program will open the 2026 season on the road, traveling to Tennessee on August 13 before returning home for a series of early‑season matchups.
Early Non‑Conference Road Tests
After the Tennessee game, the Scarlet Knights will visit UConn on August 20 and Fairfield on August 23. The home opener is slated for August 27 against Boston College, after which Rutgers will host Providence on August 30 and Princeton on September 6.
Big Ten Schedule Unveiled
Conference play kicks off in September with matches at Oregon on September 10 and at Washington on September 13. The full Big Ten slate will feature home and away games against Purdue, UCLA, Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, Nebraska, Penn State, Ohio State, Indiana and Maryland, providing a rigorous test against some of the nation's top programs.
