Rutgers football has added a new piece to its 2027 recruiting class, securing a commitment from three-star wide receiver Arnold Mugerwa. The 6-foot-2 prospect hails from Richland High School in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, where he has been ranked as the No. 15 overall recruit in the state and the No. 56 wide receiver nationally.

Mugerwa narrowed his choices to a handful of Power Five programs, ultimately deciding on the Scarlet Knights over offers from Virginia Tech, Florida State, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Maryland and Syracuse.
