A New Chapter for Young’s Motorsports
Veteran driver Ryan Ellis is set to compete full‑time for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, bringing a decade of experience from the Cup Series and the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series to the lineup.
The team is converting its No. 02 Chevrolet Camaro to a dedicated superspeedway package, marking the third season of a focused push that aligns with partners such as Tablo TV and the Scripps Howard Fund’s “If You Give a Child a Book …” literacy campaign.
EchoPark Speedway Awaits
Ellis will face the hybrid‑style track at EchoPark Speedway, a venue known for its intense, superspeedway‑style racing. He carries an average finish of 22.1 there in the O’Reilly series, while the organization’s recent data shows an improving trend with an average position of 24.0.
Crew chief Eddie Troconis, who has logged three top‑five finishes at the same track in the Truck Series, will work alongside Ellis to fine‑tune strategy and execution for the upcoming race.
Young’s Motorsports has accumulated 106 starts in the series, earning one top‑five and four top‑10 finishes, underscoring a steady climb toward competitiveness as the season progresses.
Beyond the track, the partnership with the Scripps Howard Fund ties the team’s platform to a broader mission of childhood literacy, while Tablo TV provides fans with tools to watch and record races, including the dedicated NASCAR Channel.
With the season’s schedule now set, Ellis and the No. 02 program are poised to translate experience, strategic insight, and community support into a strong finish at EchoPark Speedway and beyond.
