Saint Albert Catholic Schools announced the resignation of head baseball coach Duncan Patterson, who led the Falcons from 2017 through the 2021 season. Patterson’s departure concludes a tenure that combined a winning record with a state championship.
During his five‑year stretch, Patterson compiled a 208‑151 record and culminated his leadership with a Class 1A state baseball championship in 2021. The achievement underscored his ability to transform the program into a consistent contender.
A Legacy of Excellence
Beyond the scoreboard, Patterson placed a strong emphasis on the development of student‑athletes, integrating academic support, character education, and community service into daily practice.
Activities Director Nate Noon expressed gratitude for Patterson’s dedication, stating that his impact will endure in the program’s traditions and in the lives of the players he mentored.
The school has now opened a formal search for a new coach, aiming to preserve the winning ethos while exploring fresh ideas for the next chapter of Falcon baseball.
