Saint Joseph’s College is gearing up for the 2026 men’s soccer season with the arrival of six new athletes, all hailing from Maine. The incoming class adds depth across every line, from forward to goalkeeper, and promises to reinforce the squad’s ambitions in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
Maine Roots, National Ambitions
The newcomers include forwards Noah Dugan and Colby Jordan, midfielder Damir Brkic, defender Zach Britton, goalkeeper Alex Bachmann, and versatile player Khalil Ghosheh. Jordan stands as the tallest at 6‑foot‑3, followed by Bachmann at 6‑foot‑1 and Ghosheh at 6‑foot, while the rest round out the group with varied physical profiles.
All six players share a common thread: they are rooted in Maine, with three of them — Jordan, Britton, and Ghosheh — originating from the Scarborough area. Their academic pursuits are equally diverse, ranging from business administration and sports management to exercise science and accounting, reflecting a blend of athletic and scholarly goals.
Last season the team reached the GNAC Semifinals with an 8‑9‑1 overall record and a 7‑4‑1 conference mark, setting a competitive foundation. The 2026 schedule features eleven conference matchups, five non‑conference fixtures, and nine home games, opening with a home contest against the University of Maine at Farmington on September 1 and a clash with nationally ranked UMass Boston on September 6.
Conference play kicks off on September 12 against Rivier University, and the campaign will close at home versus Mitchell College on October 24. With a blend of local talent and seasoned contributors, the coaching staff believes the new roster can contend for a conference title and advance deeper into the playoffs.
