Fordham Athletics has announced a multi‑year partnership with Sandhills Real Estate, naming the firm its exclusive off‑campus housing provider and the inaugural jersey‑patch sponsor for the university’s baseball and men’s tennis programs.
Starting this season, Sandhills branding will appear on the uniforms of Fordham’s baseball and men’s tennis squads, marking the first time a sports‑specific jersey patch has been used by the university.
In exchange, Sandhills will receive a suite of marketing benefits, including premium game‑day hospitality, season tickets, in‑venue signage and extensive digital and social‑media exposure across Fordham’s athletic platforms.
Student‑Athlete Development and Real‑World Experience
The collaboration extends beyond visibility, offering internships, guest lectures and career‑development programs in real estate, giving student‑athletes practical experience that complements their academic pursuits.
Harris Durkovic, co‑founder of Sandhills Real Estate and a Fordham men’s tennis alumnus, emphasized that the partnership is designed to create tangible pathways for students to transition from the classroom to the professional world.
RevUp Property Representation Consultants, the agency that brokered the deal, highlighted how the agreement reflects a broader shift in collegiate sponsorships, moving past traditional signage toward integrated brand experiences.
