Three Savannah State baseball players have earned spots on the 2026 SIAC all-conference team, a testament to the program’s rising competitiveness.

Johan Sandoval’s breakout season

Johan Sandoval was selected to the First Team All-SIAC after a season in which he batted .374 and topped the team with 50 runs, 61 hits, 15 doubles, 31 walks and 18 stolen bases. He also shared the team lead in triples and homers with four and three respectively, underscoring his all-around impact at the plate.

Austin McCormack earned a Second Team nod after posting a 7-2 record, 67 strikeouts and a 3.77 ERA over 86 innings pitched. His four complete games highlighted a durability that helped anchor the rotation.
