From the opening drive, Mamaroneck imposed a disciplined defense that limited Scarsdale's early opportunities, and the Tigers built a 13‑0 lead that persisted despite the challenging weather and the Raiders' tenacious efforts to stay within striking distance.
The momentum shifted when senior Leah Brown broke free on a sideline sweep, sprinting more than 70 yards for a touchdown that ignited the Scarsdale sideline and cut the deficit to six points, offering a brief but exhilarating glimpse of a comeback.
