From Texas Roots to Oklahoma Depth Chart
Sean Hutton, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman, grew up in Lewisville, Texas, where he starred at Lewisville High School alongside his closest teammate and best friend, Michael Fasusi. The summer of 2024 brought a preferred walk‑on opportunity from the University of Oklahoma, a chance that solidified his commitment to the Sooners and marked the beginning of his collegiate journey.
After electing to redshirt during the 2025 campaign, Hutton spent the year absorbing the rigors of Division I football, focusing on strength development and mastering the playbook. Though he did not see game action, the season provided invaluable exposure to the speed and physicality of college defenses, laying a foundation for his upcoming role.
Entering his second year in Norman, Hutton is slated to serve as depth on the interior offensive line. Coaches have praised his work ethic and versatility, noting that his experience in practice scrimmages positions him to contribute when called upon.
The Sooners’ offensive line group is expected to benefit from the added depth that Hutton brings, especially as the team prepares for a demanding schedule this fall. With each snap he takes, Hutton will accumulate the game‑ready experience that can only accelerate his growth on the field.
