SEC reveals 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule
The Southeastern Conference announced the complete slate of opponents and home‑away designations for the upcoming 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, setting the stage for a tightly packed conference campaign that will run from early January through early March.
In Texas, the Longhorns will enjoy a home slate that includes matchups against Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M, while the team will hit the road to face Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
Conference play is slated to begin on January 2, 2027, and will culminate on March 6, 2027, with each of the 15 league members meeting every other team at least once; three of those opponents will be scheduled for a second encounter, adding extra intrigue to the standings race.
The SEC Tournament will take place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, from March 10 through March 14, 2027, providing a final showcase before the NCAA tournament selections.
