Nashville to Host 2027 SEC Media Days
The Southeastern Conference confirmed that its flagship media days will return to Nashville, Tennessee, in July 2027, after a four‑year hiatus from the city that last hosted the event in 2023.
Commissioner Greg Sankey revealed the dates — July 12 through July 15 — during a press briefing that opened the 2026 edition in Tampa, Florida, where the conference traditionally begins its media circuit.
Tennessee will be prominently featured, with head coach Josh Heupel slated to take the main stage at 2:55 p.m. EDT and the SEC Network planning a live broadcast of his remarks.
Representing the Volunteers will be players DeSean Bishop, Arion Carter and Jeremiah Telander, who join a lineup of coaches and prospects from across the league.
The move underscores the SEC’s continued emphasis on showcasing its football narrative in a central venue, while also providing a platform for emerging storylines ahead of the upcoming season.
