The Southeastern Conference has released its slate of conference opponents for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, setting the stage for a demanding schedule that blends traditional rivalries with a handful of neutral‑site showcases.
Home‑and‑away battlegrounds
Missouri will meet three familiar foes both in Columbia and on the road: Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee. The Tigers will host the Razorbacks, the Sooners and the Volunteers at Mizzou Arena, while also traveling to face each of them away from home.
At home, the Tigers are slated to welcome Alabama, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Texas A&M, promising a packed house at the arena throughout the winter months.
On the road, Missouri will test itself against Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Texas and Vanderbilt, each presenting a distinct tactical challenge.
Neutral‑site highlights
The non‑conference slate features a series of marquee neutral‑site contests. The Tigers open the season against Saint Louis at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Nov. 6, then head to Chicago to meet Marquette on Nov. 15. A much‑anticipated Border War showdown with Kansas will take place Dec. 6 at the T‑Mobile Center in Kansas City, followed by a Dec. 12 clash with Nebraska at the same venue. The annual Braggin’ Rights game against Illinois is penciled in for a yet‑to‑be‑determined date at the Enterprise Center, while the ACC/SEC Challenge will see Pittsburgh visit Mizzou Arena on Dec. 1. The season also includes a final leg of a three‑game series against Howard at home, and a home matchup with Evansville.
While the full schedule of dates and TV designations will be announced later, the announced slate already signals a rigorous campaign that could shape the Tigers’ NCAA tournament aspirations.
