The SEC on Thursday unveiled the 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule for the Georgia Bulldogs, outlining a blend of home and away contests that span the conference and non‑conference portions of the season.
Conference slate promises intensity
Georgia will host Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Texas and Vanderbilt at Stegeman Coliseum, while also meeting its traditional rivals Florida and South Carolina twice apiece.
Road trips will take the Bulldogs to Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Tennessee, completing a conference schedule that features ten opponents from last year’s NCAA Tournament.
Non‑conference challenges
The non‑conference slate includes road games at North Carolina and Georgia Tech, a home matchup against Boston College in the ACC/SEC Challenge, a showdown with Duke as part of the Jimmy V Classic, and a trip to Orlando for the ESPN Events Invitational.
Coach Mike White, who guided the team to a 22‑11 record and a second consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, will return four season‑ending starters — Blue Cain, Marcus Millender, Kanon Catchings and Kareem Stagg — while adding five transfer portal players and a four‑player freshman class.
The schedule positions Georgia among four power‑conference programs that retain four key starters, underscoring the Bulldogs’ ambition to translate recent success into deeper tournament runs.
