The league released its full schedule on Thursday, outlining a 2026‑27 season that will pit the Volunteers against a mix of familiar rivals and new test pieces.
Tennessee is slated for double‑headers with Kentucky, Missouri and Vanderbilt, guaranteeing two meetings with each of those traditional powers.
The first conference test comes on January 2 in Knoxville against Vanderbilt, and the Volunteers will then confront a demanding stretch from January 16 to January 30, a four‑game run that includes road trips to Texas and back‑to‑back contests that could shape their league standing.
Home Saturday games will feature high‑profile opponents such as Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky and Alabama, offering fans a chance to see the team in front of a full arena.
Outside the SEC, the Volunteers will host Michigan State and Florida State, travel to Purdue and Nashville for a matchup with NC State, and take part in the Players Era Tournament, where they could play three or four games depending on the draw.
The roster has been revamped with several top transfers — Juke Harris, Jalen Haralson, Terrence Hill Jr. and Tyler Lundblade — raising expectations for Coach Barnes' twelfth Volunteers squad.
