Georgia will open its campaign on September 5 against Tennessee State, with the game slated for a 3 p.m. Eastern start on the SEC Network+. Two weeks later, the Bulldogs travel to face Western Kentucky at noon Eastern on the same network, before hosting Arkansas on September 19 at noon on ABC.
Coach Kirby Smart has already hinted that the early schedule is designed to test depth, noting that quarterback Gunner Stockton will return to lead the offense, while the coaching staff evaluates fresh talent in the first few weeks.
Conference Realignment and the Nine‑Game Slate
This season marks the SEC’s transition to a nine‑game conference schedule, a shift that adds extra intra‑conference battles and reshapes the traditional non‑conference slate.
