The Section 1 flag football tournament is set to kick off its semifinals on May 20, bringing together the top teams from Classes A, B, and C in a bid for the championship.
Semifinals by Class
In Class A, Yonkers will host Scarsdale while Mamaroneck welcomes Arlington, giving the higher‑seeded programs the chance to play on their own turf.
Class B features Brewster taking on Tappan Zee and Mahopac facing Yorktown, with each higher seed set to host its counterpart.
Class C matchups include Putnam Valley versus Westlake/Briarcliff and Byram Hills up against Dobbs Ferry, again with the higher seed earning home‑field advantage.
The winners of these semifinals will advance to the Section 1 championships on May 23, scheduled to be played at Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak.
