Seminoles Lock In No. 10 Seed for Home Regional
The Florida State baseball team has been awarded the No. 10 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, earning the right to host the Tallahassee Regional.
Their first‑round matchup will be against St. John's on Friday at 3 p.m., while Coastal Carolina and Northern Illinois meet in the other opening game at 8 p.m.
This marks the 38th time the Seminoles have hosted a regional and their 62nd overall postseason appearance, underscoring the program’s sustained excellence.
Entering the tournament, Florida State carries a .282 team batting average and a 4.05 earned run average, figures that reflect both offensive consistency and pitching reliability.
Coach Link Jarrett, who has guided the program for many years, is expected to lean on the team’s depth as they aim for a deep run.
