A Tied End to an Undefeated Streak
Logan Ovitt opened the scoring in the 39th minute, slipping a well‑placed strike past the goalkeeper after a timely assist from Jayden Marshall, giving the Sentinels a 1‑0 edge at halftime.
The Blue Jays answered early in the second half, equalising in the 43rd minute to restore parity and shift momentum.
Ovitt, however, was not finished. He doubled the Sentinels' lead in the 77th minute, capitalising on an assist from Anthony Winter Jr. to put the home side ahead once more.
A late surge from Jamestown saw the visitors net the decisive goal in the 79th minute, forcing a 2‑2 finish that ended the Sentinels' perfect run and left both coaches reflecting on missed chances.
Looking ahead, the Sentinels are scheduled to meet their hometown rivals, Minot High Magicians, on August 25, a clash that could rekindle the competitive spirit that defined their earlier victories.
