In his limited NHL appearances last season, Murashov posted a 1‑1‑2 record while maintaining a 2.56 goals‑against average and a .897 save percentage. Though the sample size is small, the young Russian showed he can handle the pace of the big league.
His true breakout came in the American Hockey League, where he compiled a 24‑9‑4 record with a 2.20 goals‑against average and a .919 save percentage. The numbers include four shutouts, underscoring his ability to dominate opposition night after night.
