Valley Christian built a 6‑0 lead in the first half, but the Pioneers answered with a burst of energy after the break, outscoring their opponents 36‑22 in the second half.
Key Performances Shape the Narrative
Bo Tanck, the team’s dual‑threat quarterback, managed 16 completions on 33 attempts for 168 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding 37 yards on the ground across five carries.
Cash Kuehn emerged as the top receiver for Valley Christian, hauling in six passes for 108 yards and also contributing an interception that halted a potential comeback.
For Sevastopol, Reid LeClair and Ray Johnson each found the end zone through the air, with LeClair catching one touchdown pass after six receptions for 53 yards and Johnson adding a score on four grabs for 54 yards.
The offensive output was heavily run‑oriented; Valley Christian scored five of their six touchdowns on the ground, amassing 409 total yards — 312 rushing and 97 passing.
