Shah Hall Joins N.C. State Men’s Basketball

Transfer adds size, shot‑blocking and depth to the Wolfpack's frontcourt

North Carolina State’s men’s basketball program has confirmed the arrival of Shah Hall, a 6‑foot‑11, 240‑pound forward who spent the previous season at Shelton State Community College.

During his sophomore year at Shelton State, Hall posted averages of 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game while shooting 65.1 % from the field, earning Junior College All‑America Honorable Mention honors.

A Strategic Addition for the Wolfpack

Hall’s season was cut short by a foot injury that sidelined him for most of the 2024‑25 campaign, but the coaching staff expects him to have two years of eligibility remaining at N.C. State.

The Wolfpack hosted Hall for an official visit over the weekend, and he also toured Arkansas before reportedly planning meetings with Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Coach Joe Eatmon of Shelton State described Hall as a special, athletic and hardworking player, highlighting his shot‑blocking, lob‑finishing and clean passing abilities.

Hall originally signed with Alabama‑Birmingham before reopening his recruitment, having previously starred at Hillcrest‑Tuscaloosa High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The new frontcourt will feature starter Kyle Evans alongside Hall, Robert Juković, Eemeli Yalaho and returning forward Zymicah Wilkins, giving the Wolfpack a deep and versatile lineup.
