A season of growth for ADM baseball
Shawn Beenken entered his first year as head coach of the Adel‑DeSoto‑Minburn baseball team with a clear mission: to blend technical instruction with the development of mature, responsible young men.
Throughout the 2026 campaign the squad posted a 13‑18 overall record, battling to a 6‑10 mark inside the Raccoon River Conference, a testament to the competitive spirit of the roster.
Beenken emphasized that the support from families played a pivotal role, noting that engaged parents helped create an environment where players could thrive both on and off the field.
