Shawsheen Tech Catcher Adam Caruso Earns Commonwealth Athletic Conference MVP Honors

Adam Caruso, a senior catcher for Shawsheen Tech, was crowned the Commonwealth Athletic Conference’s Large School Division MVP, a honor that also secures him a spot in the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association Eastern Mass. All‑Star game at Holman Stadium in Nashua, N.H.

Shawsheen Tech finished the league schedule unbeaten at 10‑0, a feat that helped the school dominate the Large School selections, accounting for 17 of the 24 all‑star slots alongside Greater Lowell Tech and Lowell Catholic.

The Shawsheen roster that earned all‑star honors includes Will Trach, Dyllon Pratt, Jake Carr, Cole Pellegrino, Aiden Pimentel and Max Snapausky, while Greater Lowell Tech contributed Anthony Crowell, Gryphon Morales, Brodie Marvin, Nick Brady and Nick Albano, and Lowell Catholic added Kellen Tesini, Nicholas Goodwin, Aidan Clement, Lucas Silva and Shawn Hines.

Beyond baseball, fifteen local players were recognized among the Commonwealth Athletic Conference’s tennis all‑stars, and four area athletes from Chelmsford earned boys’ rugby all‑star nods, underscoring a vibrant multi‑sport season across the region.

The accolades extended to academia as well, with nineteen UMass Lowell student‑athletes named America East Presidential Scholar‑Athletes for graduating with a 3.75 GPA or higher, reflecting a strong blend of athletic and scholarly achievement.
