Professional basketball shooting coach BriAnna Joy Garza, founder of Shooters Shoot LLC, is bringing her specialized training system to Austin, Texas.
Year‑Round Programs and a New Facility
Starting in the fall of 2026, Shooters Shoot will offer continuous training opportunities across Austin, with a dedicated basketball facility slated to open in the spring of 2027.
The Austin location will host individual sessions, small‑group work, seasonal camps and comprehensive player‑development programs designed to sharpen shooting mechanics, enhance biomechanical efficiency and strengthen the mental approach to the game.
Innovative Methodology
Garza blends shooting technique with biomechanical analysis, sport‑psychology strategies and cutting‑edge technology to create a holistic development pathway for athletes at every level.
Current offerings include a four‑day Biometric Shooting Camp at Southwestern University from July 28 through 31, and a six‑week Shot Transformation Program running from August 17 to September 21 at St. Edward's University.
Community Impact and Global Outreach
Through the nonprofit initiative “Shoot Like A Girl,” Garza is raising funds to provide free training and clinic access for girls and women, and she plans to conduct free all‑girls clinics in the Philippines, Singapore, Japan and other Asian markets in early 2027.
The choice of Austin reflects the city’s expanding sports ecosystem and its strong youth basketball base, positioning the new facility as a center for coach education, certification and community‑driven basketball programming.
Garza emphasizes that shooting is the most pivotal skill in basketball, not only for scoring but also for building confidence and mental resilience.
