Tournament Overview
The 2026 Shore Conference boys soccer tournament will run from September 10 through October 6, following the familiar World Cup format that has defined the competition in recent years. No major changes are slated for the tournament’s structure, rules or procedures, ensuring continuity for teams and coaches.
Group Stage Details
Group play begins on September 10 and concludes on October 6, with the final group matches scheduled before the knockout round cutoff on October 10. Eight groups have been drawn, each containing a mix of traditional powerhouses and emerging programs, setting the stage for competitive matchups across the state.
Group 1 features Christian Brothers Academy, Manasquan; Central, Red Bank; and Red Bank Catholic, Red Bank, while Group 2 includes Southern, Holmdel; Freehold Township; Jackson; and Matawan teams. Group 3 brings together Toms River East, Ocean; Lacey, Barnegat; and Raritan, while Group 4 matches Manalapan, Toms River South; Long Branch; Middletown North; and Monmouth.
Group 5 comprises Colts Neck, Toms River North; Brick; Ranney; and Asbury Park, and Group 6 includes Marlboro, Rumson-Fair Haven; Brick Memorial; Freehold Boro; Pinelands; and St. Rose. Group 7 features Middletown South, Point Pleasant Borough; Wall; and Lakewood, while Group 8 includes St. John Vianney, Shore; Howell; Manchester; Keyport; and Donovan Catholic.
Knockout Phase Schedule
The knockout phase kicks off with the opening round on Wednesday, October 14, followed by round of 16 matches on Friday, October 16. Quarterfinal games are set for Tuesday, October 20, leading into the semifinals on Thursday, October 22 at Summerfield School in Neptune.
Championship Details
The championship game will be played on Saturday, October 24, also at Summerfield School in Neptune, concluding a month‑long battle for the title.
