All‑Shore Team Honors
Among the standouts, catchers Jake Liotti of Howell and Joe McGlynn of Brick Memorial lead a potent lineup, each posting batting averages above .400 and driving in multiple runs. Liotti carries a .440 average with two home runs, while McGlynn adds 22 RBI and a .330 average, highlighting his dual threat at the plate and behind it.
Sophomore first baseman Luke Dana from Wall continues to impress with a .424 average and 22 RBI, and senior utility player Ryan Rude of Colts Neck boasts a .455 average and 23 RBI, underscoring his all‑field role. Outfielders such as R.J. Conover from Colts Neck and Brody Powers from Point Pleasant Beach have combined for over 70 RBI, reflecting the offensive firepower spread across the shore.
Pitchers like Brady Williams of Rumson‑Fair Haven and Nick Plevier of Wall have posted sub‑2.00 ERAs, delivering the kind of dominance that often translates into college recruitment opportunities. Zach Pirnik from Brick Memorial and Ryan Spencer from Colts Neck also contribute strong outings with ERAs under 2.50 and strikeout totals that place them among the league’s most reliable arms.
The recognition extends beyond individual stats; it reflects a community where schools such as Howell High School, Brick Memorial High School and Wall High School consistently produce players who excel both academically and athletically. This blend of sport and scholarship sets a benchmark for future seasons.
