Sierra Canyon High School basketball has secured a major commitment by adding Houston Rolle, a 6‑foot‑6 shooting guard, to its roster for the 2026‑27 season.
Rolle, who is ranked sixth among California prospects and sits inside the national Top 50 for the 2028 class, brings a proven scoring record from his sophomore year at Heritage Christian, where he averaged 20.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
The incoming recruit holds scholarship offers from a suite of power‑conference programs, including USC, Florida State, Missouri, Washington and Creighton, underscoring the national appeal of his game.
Sierra Canyon, already a dominant force in the Mission League — widely regarded as the most competitive high school basketball league in the United States — enters the new season with championship aspirations, aiming to defend its 2026 CIF State Open Division title.
The roster will feature a blend of returning standouts and elite newcomers, including Jordan Mize, the No. 16 junior nationally, as well as fellow Top 50 prospects JJ Sati‑Grier, Josh Lowery and Jordan Mize, creating a two‑year window of sustained contention.
Additional returning talent such as 7‑foot‑3 center Cherif Millogo and 7‑foot‑0 Yann Kamagate, both ranked among the nation’s top prospects in their respective classes, further bolsters the team’s depth and defensive presence.
A Talent‑Loaded Future
With four of the junior class’s top 50 players committed, Sierra Canyon is positioned to maintain a high level of competition through the next two seasons, potentially reshaping the California basketball landscape.
