Ryan Silverfield opened the inaugural episode of his weekly radio program at the historic Catfish Hole in Fayetteville, Arkansas, drawing a crowd of enthusiastic fans for more than an hour of conversation about the upcoming season.
The show, which will feature two players each week, marks a continuation of Silverfield’s media presence that began with a weekly television segment on WREG News Channel 3 in Memphis, bringing a new level of accessibility to the Razorbacks community.
During the broadcast, Silverfield officially named KJ Jackson the starting quarterback, praising the senior’s leadership and command during recent drills. "Jackson’s poise in situational play gives us the confidence to build around him," Silverfield said.
The coaching staff also outlined a more diversified offensive scheme that will see running backs integrated into the passing attack, drawing on the successes of former Razorbacks such as Tony Pollard and Kenny Gainwell who have excelled in similar roles at the professional level.
Defensive Vision and Alumni Involvement
