A Summer Glimpse
SIUE men's basketball coach Brian Barone is opening the doors of First Community Arena on Wednesday, July 29, for an early look at the upcoming 2026‑27 Cougars roster.
The open practice marks one of the final summer workouts for the team, giving fans a rare chance to see the players in action before the season begins.
Doors will swing open at 5 p.m., with the workout itself set to start at 5:30 p.m. Light concessions will be available, allowing attendees to enjoy snacks and drinks while they watch.
After the drills conclude, Barone and a handful of players will stay on the court for a meet‑and‑greet, answering questions and signing autographs.
The event is free and open to all Cougar supporters, offering a community‑focused kickoff to what promises to be an exciting season.
