Regional Honors
The 2026 season has delivered a rare wave of national recognition for the Johns Hopkins baseball program, as six Blue Jays were selected to the ABCA/Rawlings All‑Region V squads. The honors reflect a blend of individual excellence and team success that positions the club as a contender in the upcoming Division III championship.
William Jaun anchors the accolades with a First Team placement, leading the team in both hits (70) and runs batted in (68). His consistent production at the plate has made him a cornerstone of the lineup and a key driver of the team’s offensive surge.
Clay Hartje and Jacob Harris earned Second Team distinctions, each contributing power numbers that stand out on the national stage. Hartje’s 16 home runs and an OPS that ranks among the conference’s best underscore his impact, while Harris’s 16 homers also placed him 16th in the country for the category.
Keiffer Ary joins his teammates on the Second Team as the only Blue Jay to surpass the .400 batting average threshold, a testament to his precision and consistency throughout the schedule.
Alex Shane, already a three‑time All‑Region selection, added a fourth honor, cementing his status as the program’s most decorated regional player. As the team’s closer, he also set a new single‑season saves record with eight, a milestone that highlights his dominance in high‑leverage situations.
Dylan Zucker’s third‑team placement reflects his role as the closer who amassed those eight saves, the most in a single season in program history. Together, the six honorees illustrate the depth of talent that will carry the Blue Jays into the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
