All-Region Selections
Mississippi State’s baseball program celebrated a milestone as six of its athletes earned spots on the ABCA South All-Region teams, a testament to the program’s rising competitiveness.
First-Team Highlights
Ace Reese and Noah Sullivan, both repeat selections, head the first-team lineup, with Reese joining an elite trio in school history who have logged at least 20 home runs in consecutive seasons.
Jacob Parker, a freshman phenom, shattered the rookie home-run record with 18 round-trippers, complementing a .339 average and 62 RBIs that underscored his immediate impact.
Noah Sullivan also posted a .342 batting average, amassing 75 hits, 14 doubles, 13 homers and 46 RBIs while leading the team in on-base percentage.
Pitching Excellence
Tomas Valincius anchored the rotation with an 11-2 record, a 3.50 ERA and a league-leading 134 strikeouts, showcasing his dominance on the mound.
Second-Team Notables
Reed Stallman and Gehrig Frei rounded out the honorees, each delivering strong offensive numbers — Stallman batting .318 with 13 homers and 55 RBIs, and Frei hitting .325 with 12 doubles, two triples and 12 homers.
The recognition reflects not only individual excellence but also the program’s depth, as highlighted by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Mississippi State University.
