San Jose State University Athletics has unveiled the 2026 football promotional schedule, confirming a seven‑game home slate at CEFCU Stadium that weaves together rivalry matchups, cultural heritage nights and student‑driven traditions.

Key Matchups and Heritage Nights

The season opens on September 12 with a heritage match against Cal Poly, a nod to the city’s automotive legacy, while September 19 brings a showdown with Fresno State that will feature Bay Area Sports Night, a youth sports celebration and Band Day. October 9 marks Homecoming against Wyoming, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 2006 New Mexico Bowl championship team, and October 31 will host Sammy Spartan’s Birthday Celebration followed by a Halloween clash with New Mexico.

November’s lineup includes a Parent & Family Weekend game versus Northern Illinois, a Native American Heritage Day contest with UNLV, and a Black Friday finale against North Dakota State that also honors Senior Day. Throughout the season, pre‑game festivities such as Brew & Vine tastings, Military & First Responders Salutes and Youth Spirit Day performances will punctuate the schedule.

Single‑game tickets, group packages and premium pre‑game experiences are now on sale, giving fans ample opportunity to engage with the themed events and support the Spartans throughout the campaign.
