Skylar Forbes, a senior forward from West Virginia University, has been selected to represent Team Canada at the 2026 FIBA 3×3 Nations League Americas Conference in Chile. Forbes brings a proven track record of international experience, having previously worn the Canadian jersey at the 2025 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in Vienna and as a member of the U18 Canadian National team in 2022. Those appearances have helped sharpen her skills on the fast‑paced half‑court format.
Her college career at West Virginia is marked by 1,075 career points, averaging 11.8 points per game, along with 446 rebounds, 156 assists, 88 steals and 138 blocks over three seasons. Those numbers underscore a well‑rounded skill set that blends scoring, playmaking and defensive versatility.
Last season, Forbes earned All‑Big East first‑team honors and a spot on the conference’s defensive team, a testament to her impact on both ends of the floor.
