Slippery Rock University Announces Summer Basketball Camps for Youth and Prospects

Co-ed skills clinics and elite recruiting sessions open registration for incoming grades 3‑12

Slippery Rock University is set to host a series of basketball camps this summer, aimed at developing young talent and giving high‑school prospects a chance to showcase their abilities.

Summer Basketball Camps Overview

The co‑ed youth skills clinics will run on June 15‑16 and August 3‑4 for boys and girls entering grades three through eight. Each two‑day session takes place at the Aebersold Student Recreation Center, commonly known as The ARC, and costs $80 per participant.

Designed to teach fundamentals, the clinics feature skill instruction stations, fun contests and competitive games, all led by SRU coaches and current players.

Older prospects entering ninth grade or above can attend prospect recruiting camps on June 21 and August 2. Priced at $80 each, these sessions provide a platform to compete in front of the Slippery Rock coaching staff as well as coaches from other institutions.

Registration is now open for all programs, and interested families are encouraged to secure their spots early as space is limited.
