The indie‑rock duo of Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy have officially announced a joint headline tour that will span 19 shows across the United States this fall. Dubbed “The S&M Tour,” the trek marks the first time the two artists have teamed up for a full‑scale touring partnership, generating considerable excitement among fans and industry observers alike.
A Milestone for Indie Rock
The tour kicks off on September 30 at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will travel to a series of mid‑size venues before concluding on October 24 at Greenfield Lake Amp in Wilmington, North Carolina. In between, the itinerary includes stops in cities such as Baltimore, Silver Spring, New York, and Nashville, each night promising a blend of new material and fan‑favorite tracks.
Tickets for the entire run will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on June 5, with presale opportunities available for newsletter subscribers. Both acts have recently enjoyed strong live performances; Snail Mail’s recent European dates have drawn critical praise, while Soccer Mommy’s U.S. shows have consistently sold out, including a recent double‑header at Thalia Hall that grossed over $70,000.
Management for the tour is handled by Ground Control Touring, with Timmy Hefner overseeing North American logistics, and Soccer Mommy’s booking is coordinated by High Road’s Wilson Zheng. The collaboration underscores a growing trend of indie artists joining forces to create larger‑scale experiences that benefit both the artists and their expanding fan bases.
