SoccerFest26 will transform the Camden Waterfront into a vibrant, free three‑day celebration from June 25 through June 27, 2026, inviting residents and visitors to experience the excitement of the FIFA World Cup without stepping inside a stadium. Giant outdoor screens will broadcast every match, turning the waterfront into a communal viewing party.
The festival’s grounds will be lined with food trucks offering flavors from around the globe, while wine and beer tasting stations provide a showcase of local craft brews. Attendees can wander between culinary stations and sip responsibly as they cheer on their favorite teams.
A curated lineup of South Jersey talent will provide the soundtrack for the weekend, featuring the indie‑rock group CraVed, trumpeter Matt Cappy, vocalist Tara Hendricks and the electronic duo Cintron, alongside additional performances by local artists that will keep the energy high throughout the event.
Families will find plenty to keep children engaged, with inflatable play zones and a dedicated SoccerFest26 Live Play Zone where roughly 300 young athletes will compete in daily soccer games and skill challenges, turning the festival into a playground of sport and fun.
Community Voices
Michael Snyder, Director of Operations for Visit South Jersey, emphasized that the festival is about more than soccer; it is a chance for the region to come together, celebrate shared passions, and showcase the welcoming spirit of Camden County.
Commissioner Louis Cappelli Jr. added that the event highlights the amenities of the Camden County Park System, positioning the waterfront as a premier destination for large‑scale cultural gatherings.
The festival’s success is bolstered by partnerships with Rutgers University‑Camden Athletics and the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association, both of which are providing logistical support and helping to engage local youth in the activities.
With an anticipated turnout that could make it one of South Jersey’s largest World Cup celebrations, SoccerFest26 promises a weekend of global flavors, music and community spirit that will resonate long after the final whistle.
