As the 2026 girls soccer season looms, the South Bend Tribune has identified 35 key returning players who will shape the competitive landscape across the region's 14 high school programs.
Sectional Champions Lead the Pack
The preseason top five rankings reflect a concentration of talent from the five 2025 sectional champions, with four of those teams contributing multiple standout athletes to the list.
Among the standouts, Alexa Santillan of Bremen earned INSC Honorable Mention honors as a goalkeeper, posting 113 saves last year, while Brynn Weirich from Concord led her squad with over 12 goals as a sophomore.
Jiana Camacho of Goshen spearheaded the RedHawks with more than 11 goals, capturing All‑District and All‑Conference accolades, and Karsyn Bogard of John Glenn topped her team’s scoring chart with 24 goals.
Kendall Bradley from Mishawaka Marian added 19 goals, nine of which came during the state tournament, underscoring her clutch performance, while Madison Mishler of LaVille contributed 15 goals and helped the Lancers secure a strong season.
Adelynn Miller of Northridge rounded out the offensive threats with 12 goals and earned similar conference recognitions, illustrating the breadth of scoring talent across the area.
Beyond raw numbers, many of these athletes have been lauded for leadership, earning team captaincies and mentorship roles that promise to influence their squads’ dynamics throughout the campaign.
Coaches and analysts alike predict that the depth of skill, combined with the experience of returning All‑Conference selections, will make the upcoming season one of the most competitive in recent memory.
