The South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association has released its 2026 All‑State baseball teams, honoring the state's top high school players across all classifications. Selections were announced this week, spotlighting athletes from every corner of South Carolina, including a strong contingent from Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
Lowcountry Standouts
In the 5A Division 1 bracket, Fort Dorchester contributed two standout seniors: Banks Wickersham and Nathan Clark. Wickersham finished the season with a .457 batting average and amassed more than 40 hits, while Clark batted just above .300 and paced his team with home runs and RBIs.
Player of the Year and Division Honorees
Taj Marchand of James Island was crowned Player of the Year for all classifications, capping a season that saw him dominate both offensively and defensively. Berkeley’s Lucas Porcelli and Kobe Thomas headlined the 5A Division 2 list, while Hanahan pitcher Chris Polm earned a spot on the 3A All‑State Team. Woodland’s Hunter Morris was the sole dual‑county player named to the 2A All‑State Team.
Recognition Across Classifications
The roster extends beyond the highlighted names, featuring a deep pool of talent from across the state.
