Softball Finals Highlights
In the AAAA division, Laurence Manning edged Pinewood Prep 6-4, while Pee Dee posted a dominant 10-0 victory over Colleton Prep in the AAA bracket. The AA finals saw The King's Academy triumph 5-2 against Carolina Academy, and Holly Hill secured an 11-8 win over Richard Winn in the Class A series, each game underscoring the competitive balance among the contenders.
Baseball Championship Highlights
The baseball tournament delivered its own set of dramatic moments, with Hilton Head Christian downing Cardinal Newman 11-5 in the AAAA championship, Calhoun Academy posting a 10-2 win over Williamsburg Academy in the AAA series, Dorchester Academy defeating Lee Academy 6-2 in the AA final, and W.W. King prevailing 9-3 against Marlboro Academy in the Class A matchup. Additional playoff action included a 10-6 victory for the Hanahan Hawks over Aynor High School in the Class 3A bracket and a 7-5 win by Spartanburg over Blythewood in the 5A Division 1 upper state District 2 tournament, reflecting strong pitching and timely hitting throughout.
