The squad posted a combined grade point average of 3.56, the highest within its conference and placing 27th among all NCAA Division I programs nationwide.
This marks the 18th occasion the Gamecocks have received the Team Academic Award, underscoring a sustained pattern of academic achievement.

Across every collegiate level — from Division I to NAIA — 326 men’s soccer teams achieved a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher, earning similar academic accolades. South Carolina was among 175 institutions that celebrated both its men’s and women’s soccer programs for outstanding academic performance.
