South Carolina’s men’s basketball squad clinched a 94‑81 victory over the Victoria Vikes in the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League, pulling away in the second half to secure a comfortable margin.
The Gamecocks erupted after the break, outscoring their opponents 52‑41 and shooting a scorching 54.5 percent from the field, while forcing 18 turnovers and limiting Victoria to just 16 field goals.
Kory Mincy paced the scoring with 18 points, 16 of which came in the opening half, while Camden Heide, Aleksas Bieliauskas and Shane Blakeney all reached double figures, contributing 13, 12 and 12 points respectively.
A Showdown on the Horizon
The team’s final league outing is scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m. ET against The Bahamas National Team, a match that will be streamed live on the FloSports Channel via Amazon Prime.
