Two of South Carolina’s most highly touted basketball prospects are set to leave the state for their junior seasons, a move that could reshape the national recruiting landscape.
A New Destination for Caughman
Antonio Caughman, a four‑star prospect ranked among the top 25 nationally, will transfer from Keenan High in Columbia to Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. As a sophomore he posted 15 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.3 steals and a block per game, numbers that have attracted serious interest from programs such as South Carolina, UCLA, Indiana, Ole Miss, Maryland and Georgia Tech.
Wiserma's Southern Shift
Brice Wiserma, another rising junior from TL Hanna in Anderson, is headed to Christ School in Arden, North Carolina. Last season he averaged 17.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game, earning offers from Furman, Wofford and Coastal Carolina.
The departures are not isolated; Kaleb Allen, a fellow four‑star talent also from TL Hanna, will join Christ School in Greenville, further bolstering the school’s roster.

Both Oak Hill Academy and Christ School field rosters dotted with additional three‑star prospects, including Janon Singh, Ephriam Moore and Jaleel Smith at Oak Hill, and Kaleb Allen at Christ School.
