The South Dakota Amateur Baseball Poll, released on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, continues to spotlight the most competitive amateur squads in the state, with the Renner Monarchs holding the premier position in Class A and Dell Rapids PBR leading the Class B rankings.
In Class A, the Monarchs are followed by the Brookings Cubs in second, the Harrisburg Woodies in third, the Yankton Lakers in fourth and the Sioux Falls Brewers in fifth, while the Aberdeen Circus earned enough votes to appear on the ballot.
Class B sees Dell Rapids PBR at the top, with the Alexandria Angels in second, the Dell Rapids Mudcats in third, the Canova Gang in fourth and the Castlewood Ravens in fifth; Parkston Mudcats and the Humboldt‑Hartford Wood Ducks round out the early tier of the division.
A tight race for eighth place ties Redfield Dairy Queen and Tabor Bluebirds, while Elk Point .Colt 45s and Kimball‑White Lake Nationals share the tenth spot, completing a crowded lower half of the bracket.
Several other teams, including Platte Killer Tomatoes, Parkston Rays, Lake Norden Lakers, Humboldt‑Hartford Gamecocks and Volga Cormorants, also received votes, underscoring the depth of competition as the season moves toward its climax.
